Imagine this scene: it's Superbowl Sunday, you and your friends are all at your house watching the game. The beer is flowing, the chips are going down.
Then halftime comes, and you notice something terrible: you're out of dip! To make matters worse, you notice that you're also running low on soda (If you're in the Atlanta area, you know which brand I speak of, and you know this is bad).
You don't really have many options at this point, considering all the guys in the room have had at least three beers. Sure, your wives and girlfriends are there - and they're sober - but you don't want to have to ask them to run errands for you, especially since they're letting the guys get together like this.
So what do you do?
Thankfully, there's a little thing called grocery delivery that's starting to get bigger in the Atlanta area, especially Gwinnett County.
It's easy: find the website or grocery delivery store of your choice, pick out the items you need, and check out. Note: not all grocery delivery services will provide you with immediate service, but for the right price/tip, you're sure to find what you're looking for.
You'd be surprised: even in this crazy metro area called Atlanta, there aren't hundreds of companies doing grocery delivery and excelling at it. It's sort of still an "open market", in my opinion. My advice when it comes to picking out which service to use is to see which ones have been there the longest and which ones are certified by the Better Business Bureau; that can mean a lot!
Give them a call and pay close attention to how they treat you on the phone: are they curteous? Do they make you feel like you're important?
These are things that matter when you're establishing a working relationship with a new company.
Good luck, Atlanta!
