The Beauty of Budapest
Often described as The Jewel of the Danube the Hungarian capital of Budapest is a glittering mix of ancient attractions and modern conveniences, combined to form a vibrant and beautiful city. It just doesn't make much sense: there's a lake, there's the sea, and there in the middle it is as if a giant had droped his sandbucket, two desert like sandunes spots: one with white s and and the other with red sand! I could be easily mistaken with the S ahara or something, except forits size! There's a canyon too: as if the same giant had been playing with clay! Weird, but really nice! Other than that, I just spent my time lying on the beach (again! ;-)), walking it all long, and having some laughs with Sarita, an australian girl and Gersh, the american I met in Sihanoukville (Cambodia), and who was here as well!. At night we saw the weird effect on the sea called fosforescence: the water has some particles from plancton that glow when you touch them! You can see a good example of it at the movien "The Beach". We were swimming both nights, searching for the fosforescence, and it was just awesome!!: the feet were glowing ...

Shanghai Visit
Shanghai is extremely busy, vast in size and has a population of approximately 22 million people. Flying out of Busan, South Korea, only an hour and 10 minute flight, and arriving in Shanghai, I would find an airport bus to People's Square, near my hotel. The bus is only 20 Yuan to reach my destination and another 11 Yuan by taxi to the hotel. I found a taxi fairly easy, depending on how busy a street is and how many people are waiting for taxis. The corner is a better place to wait.

A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Kuching, Malaysia by TravelPod blogger Gin_gy titled "Across Sarawak River - Kampungs & Fort Margherita" Gin_gy's travel blog entry: "Day 2 saw us crossing Sarawak River to the Kampungs Boyan and Gersik for Imp's survey on lovely old traditional old houses as well as a climb up to Fort Margherita to enjoy a panorama of Kuching City.. The tambangs were actually much more stable than they looked though I've learnt taking a journey on water with Imp is not entirely safe.. He lacks the steady footing of a Libran like yours truly, apparent by the nervous grin he gave the camera.. Fortunately, the experience and skill of the boatman and the equal distribution of weight on both sides of the craft gave us a smooth and dry ride across to our destination.. Anyway, jokes aside, the Tambangs are simply excellent elements of river life.. Not only do they serve as a cheap shuttle for locals travelling from the Kampungs to town (only RM0.30 per trip), they give tourists an unpretentious taste of authentic Kuching river transport.. Lovely ain't it? The stroll through the Kampungs wasn't exactly enjoyable thanks to the Bornean heat.. though Imp did manage to seek out some excellent gems such as this well-maintained house of the traditional Malay Kampung typology (I think).. Well, despite my inability to entirely comprehend the need to scout about people's dwellings and take snapshots of their roofs/windows/doors/verandas/etc, I must say ...
